Celebrating 25 years!

This year STORM is proud to be celebrating 25 years in the watch and jewellery market, marking a milestone in what has been an incredibly successful journey.

STORM was co-founded in 1989 by husband and wife, Steve Sun and Anna Lee, both of whom revolutionised the watch market by producing the first UK company to sell watches as an accessory and utilising materials and designs never witnessed before in watch design.

STORM continues to be a privately run company with Steve as Chief Designer and Anna as Sales and Marketing Director. STORM is therefore one of the few British fashion watch brands to remain true to its British heritage, with new seasonal models still being designed at the London Head Office.

To date STORM has evolved to include watches, jewellery, bags, wallets, opticals, sunglasses and even fragrances. STORM have also collaborated with many designers over the past 25 years, notably Julian McDonald in 2008. In 2009 STORM introduced their first premium watch collection entitled STORM Black to celebrate the brand's 20th Anniversary. The STORM Black Collection features beautiful high-end materials including ceramic, sapphire glass and precision Swiss movement, the success of which has led to the range growing from 8 to 21 designs to date.

For its 25th anniversary, STORM has introduced two stunning special edition timepieces for men and women. The men’s Hydroxis features a raised timeface as well as a futuristic-inspired hour and second feature, whilst for the women’s style STORM has remained true to its classic roots with the Centina, a beautifully designed watch, featuring STORM’s signature tiled strap in all polished steel with a traditional timeface design - highlighted by STORM’s signature rotating ring second hand.

STORM is proud to be celebrating their 25th anniversary and the brand will continue to lead the way in innovative watch designs for the next 25 years, whilst remaining true to the brand heritage of producing quality and fashion inspired timepieces that are much more than simply a watch.
